Paintings
Contemporary Ukrainian painting styles are of great variety, from folklore primitivism to surrealism. It is hard to be objective in such a subjective field like Art as it is well known that "many men many opinions".
We can admit that choosing these two contemporary young Ukrainian artists we are quite subjective but we have the right to be so on our site.
So far we represent two different artists here whose styles differ a lot.
- SERGEY USHANOV, born in 1972 in St Petersburg ( former Leningrad), currently lives in Odessa, Ukraine
- The artist works in the style of Surrealism and post-modernism
dealing with the innermost ideas and subconsciousness. Some of these
works are already in private collections of Europe some are still
waiting to get there.Please check the availability of artwork and its

1992 - finished Odessa Grekov State Art School
1998 - graduated from Art and Graphics Faculty of Ushinskogo Teacher Training University
1999 - got MA and entered a postgraduate course
1999 - was admitted to the Odessa Regional Branch of the National Union of Young Artists in Ukraine
1993 - took active part in Regional and Country art exhibitions
2000 - the student of the international ART-EXHIBITION-BENNALE "Marina 2000"
2003 - was admitted to the National Union of Artists in Ukraine
2004 - the first personal exhibition in art gallery SH in Odessa
Since 2002 a participant of many European exhibitions with successful sales
