Euro 2012
EURO 2012 is the event which features 31 matches to announce the soccer team which is going to obtain the UEFA Euro 2012 Cup. The matches will start on June 1 and the final match is going to be held in KYIV on July 1. Ukraine and Poland will share the matches but the FINAL, as mentioned, will take place in Kyiv, Ukraine.
If you are a real Soccer (Football) FAN you will never let this event pass without your participation. Ukraine was given a loan of 5 billion (!) USD to build up new stadiums, hotels and roads. The tickets have already been on sale and the prices may change closer to the event, as you will not be able to get first -hand UEFA tickets as they will be sold out but only the ones you will be able to buy from other vendors who will put their something on top. So if you REALLY want to be a witness to the event GET READY NOW otherwise it will be too late.
How can you do this? It is simple.
STEP 1 to Euro 2012
Get a group of four soccer fans who would like to go with you. Why four? The UEFA official site can book up to four tickets simultaneously for you. Other advantages are that you are going to be hanging around with friends, you will get a taxi transportation at split by 4 price, you will split 2 room apartment price by 4, interpreting service fees can be split by 4 and the same you can do with the side excursions between the matches if you would feel like sightseeing for a change.
STEP 2 to Euro 2012
Create your account with the official UEFA site and take part in the ticket winning lottery https://ticketing.uefa.com/euro2012-en/default.aspx
After you got the confirmation that you have the tickets- send the dates and places of your matches to us so we could get an apartment or the hotel booked for you. We do recommend the apartment the price of which can be split by 4
IF you follow the Ukrainian Team the matches in Kyiv are going to be held according to the following schedule
You can see that Category 3 tickets to 5 matches in Kyiv for four people may cost 7,300 UHR which is 730 EUR or 912.5 USD. If you divide by 4 you will get 182.5 EUR or 228.1 USD per person for 5 tickets including FINAL!!!. IT IS STILL CHEAP AND AFFORDABLE.
STEP 3 to Euro 2012
Book your plane tickets. Do it as early as possible as you may end up travelling by train or hitch-hiking.
STEP 4 to Euro 2012
Get Tours to Ukraine to find and book an apartment for you.
It is more than reasonable to book an apartment in Kyiv for a month. Even if they want 800EUR or 1,000 USD per month ( which is unlikely) your share will be only 200EUR or 250USD for the whole month!
Down payment is 160EUR or 200USD (we will hand over the sum to the apartment owner and a part of your stay will be paid and the apartment booked).
STEP 5 to Euro 2012
Book car transfer and interpreting services from Tours to Ukraine.
It is recommended that you should have your own driver with the van and escort interpreter. IF you plan this trip with us our price will be just 100USD per day for an interpreter and a driver with a car. Working day for both is not limited.If you decide to go to some other city or cities or side excursions-- just pay for additional gas. Even if you have us busy for the whole month --it will cost you only 2,400EUR or 3,000USD which comes to 600EUR or 750USD per person. The driver and the interpreter will take care of their own lodging and meals.
Down payment is just 240EUR or 300USD and you will have a month of our lives booked!
STEP 6 to Euro 2012
Bring some cash.
If you have breakfast at home and two other meals at inexpensive cafes you can easily spend up to 40 EUR or 50 USD per day for food. In some places though you can have a nice meal just for 5 EUR/8 USD
NB If you want to save 1,200 EUR or 1,500USD on your meals bring canned food with you or do not eat in cafes and restaurants-- buy food from the local markets and supermarkets and cook yourself. Some Ukrainians manage to live on 100 EUR per month foodwise! Another advantage of such a diet is that you will look perfectly skinny afterwards!
Other alternative is to feed on beer as it is pretty cheap in Ukraine and it has lots of calories!
Let us get the total cost of a EURO 2012 June in Kyiv, Ukraine with your personal driver, interpreter, accomodation, excursions, meals and 5 tickets per person.
